Advanced Statistical Scouting

Advanced Statistical Scouting (A.S.S.) is used as a quick and dirty way for me to check out a group of players who may be performing at a higher/lower level than what their statistics may not, at first glance, indicate. I would then proceed to investigate further.   Besides, it is fun to say that I like to pull numbers out of my ass.

Introduction

Hello visitors.

I am Hoop Geek.  I have created a basketball rating system that I call TEN+.  TEN+ is a hat-tip to the pioneers of advanced basketball statistical analysis such as Martin Manley (Tendex.)  The "+" signifies that is based on a 100 system similar to ERA+ or OPS+ in baseball sabermetrics.
